In the year 1910, Argentina celebrated the centenary of the revolution that marked with fire the libertarian spirit of the criollos, concretized, six years later, with the declaration of independence in Tucumán.
The nations of the world paid their tribute by sending delegations, and many communities offered colossal gifts.
Thus, the British honored us with the construction of the Monumental Tower (Torre de los Ingleses) and the Spaniards with the construction of its magnificent "Monument to the Magna Carta and the Four Argentine Regions", better known among the porteños as the Monument of the Spanish.
