La Boca neighborhood of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
This street, immortalized in 1926 by the tango of the same name, composed by Juan de Dios Filiberto, is one of the most famous postcards of Buenos Aires, a place that easily enchant with its tango atmosphere and picturesque appearance, with tenements painted in bright colors , used mainly as artists ateliers, souvenir shops and bohemian bars.
Along this winding street, originally ran a railroad that over the years fell into disuse, becoming a dump known as The Curve. In 1959 after decades of neglect, the space was recovered by a group of neighbors led by the painter Benito Quintela Martín, who transformed it into the famous museum street, which can be visited today.
