Santiago Zoo. Santiago - CHILE

It is located on the southern slope west of the Parque Metropolitano de Santiago, near the main entrance to east, Pio Nono street number 450. It serves the public Tuesday to Sunday between 10:00 and 18:00 during the summer and until 17:00 in winter. Its purpose is recreation and education of its visitors, for native and exotic wildlife through information on the site (signs) and activities of the Education Unit and extension of our Zoo (exhibitions, shows, seminars, lectures, etc.).



Parallel develop conservation programs and scientific research in order to exchange knowledge with other zoos around the world and convey these experiences to all our visitors. Among its main attractions we can mention a large aviary internal circulation, a screening room called ZOOCINE, an amphitheater where live are exhibitions, and new venues, like the penguin, the CHIMPANCERA and industry to the zebras. New projects will be built soon as the new site for White Tiger, the area of Amazonia, and the new exhibition for the National Zoo elephant ... is changing, we invite you to discover.
