Santa Lucia Hill. Santiago - CHILE
Direccion:
Santiago Centro Cerro Santa Lucia is located in downtown Santiago, is one of the most visited public parks by tourists.
It is a hill that has an altitude of 69 m, and from the top you had a 360º view so it was the ideal place to create a fortress that would defend the nascent city of Santiago.
Cerro Santa Lucía changed its wild appearance in 1872, thanks to the mayor of Santiago Benjamín Vicuña Mackenna, who turned it into an attractive walk. It includes castles, canyons and the old fortification, as well as a viewpoint at the top.
