The Fashion Museum is a private institution that gathers, preserves and exhibits mainly garments that have been donated or acquired in international auctions. It was inaugurated in July 2007 by the Fashion Museum Foundation, created in 1999 by Jorge Yarur Bascu??n, son of the lawyer and businessman Jorge Yarur Banna.

The Museum houses an important and unique collection (approximately 15,000 pieces) of textiles, costumes, accessories, decorative arts, sketches and historical documents belonging to Western culture. It also includes a sports collection dedicated to tennis and football.
