In 1906, arriving in Pucon, Tonck Francisco and his family, German settlers.
Direct contact with the Mapuche people, allows them to know their culture and with the passing years together witness to it. Hoteliers precursors of today Pucon, Leoncio Marty Kaiser Tonck and Elfride Bohn, rescue this heritage, which has been enhanced over time by Ulloa Metzger family to help consolidate and project an image region with its own identity.
