The Mamalluca Observatory is located 9 km from Vicuña, it was the first observatory for tourists in Chile and the most visited.

Founded in 1998, it was a unique project of its kind, as it was designed by the municipality of Vicuña in conjunction with the Astronomy Fans Club.

Within the Mamalluca Observatory, there is a tour with a duration of approximately 2 hours, where guides specialized in the subject will explain in detail and answer the concerns giving a sample of quality and accuracy to visitors.
