The Mamalluca Observatory is located 9 km from Vicu?a, it was the first observatory for tourists in Chile and the most visited.

Founded in 1998, it was a unique project of its kind, as it was designed by the municipality of Vicu?a in conjunction with the Astronomy Fans Club.
