Information of Caleta Gonzalo

Caleta Gonzalo is a small town on the seafront, located in the eastern part of the Pumalin National Park.
It is located in the commune of Chaiten 60 km away from that city, Region de los Lagos, Chile.

Thanks to the Pumalin National Park, Caleta Gonzalo has been developed touristically, nowadays you can find cabins, restaurants and everything you need.

How to get to Caleta Gonzalo
To get from the North there are different ways.

By car
From Puerto Montt, go to Caleta Arena (45km), take a ferry to Caleta Puelche (30 minutes), then go to Hornopiren (60km) and from Hornopiren, take the ferry to Caleta Gonzalo

Caleta La Arena Ferry - Caleta Puelche (Naviera Paredes)
The trip between Puerto Montt and Hornopirén has a ferry that makes several trips a day.
Departures from Caleta La Arena (towards the south): 7:15 am, 10:15 am, 1:15 pm, 16:15 pm and 7:15 pm.
Departures from Caleta Puelche (to the north): 6:45 am, 9:30 am, 12:30 pm, 2:00 pm, 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm.
