The National Museum Honestino Guimar?es has an auditorium for 700 people and its exhibition area is divided into three pavements connected by ramps and mezzanine.

The Museum is one of the projects designed and built in Brasilia by Oscar Niemeyer in conjunction with Lucio Costa. Located in an area of government activities, there are quite a few officials who pass through the area every day, a cultural complex that tries to rival the cultural potential of San Pablo. The outer space reached, a minimalist building shaped a sphere that springs from the surface looks the model of a painting that hopes to inspire some artist. It is the style of Niemeyer that is repeated throughout the city. The environment, at times seems so unreal, that even the images that can be obtained from the museum can have a surreal style.
