National Congress of Brazil. Brasilia - BRAZIL
Direccion: Praza dos 3 Poderes, Brasilia
The Nereu Ramos Palace, also known as the National Congress Palace, is the headquarters of the National Congress of Brazil and was inaugurated in 1960.
With modern Brazilian architecture, it is the only building located in the central part of the eastern arm of the Monumental Axis. The building is a horizontal block where they are arranged, on the left, in a small hemisphere with a concave dome, the seat of the Federal Senate and on the right, in another hemisphere with convex dome and bowl shape, the headquarters of the Chamber of Deputies. Among them are two towers of individual offices that amount to a hundred meters high. Congress also occupies other surrounding buildings, some of them connected by a tunnel.
