Information about Angol
Angol is a city and commune of Chile, capital of the Province of Malleco, in Mapudungun means climbing on all fours.
It is located at the foot of the Nahuelbuta mountain range and is crossed by the Vergara river, which is also crossed by the Vergara I and Vergara II bridges, which are the only junction to the central area of the commune.
It is located 569 kilometers south of the country s capital, Santiago, 148 kilometers southeast of Concepción and 142 kilometers north of Temuco, the regional capital.
The current city of Angol, was definitely founded by Army Colonel Don Jaime Antonio Bustos. 7 of December of 1862, pertaining to the old Province of the Bull.
