Nahuelbuta National Park is located in the province of Malleco communications from Angola, northeast of this city, in the upper area of Nahuelbuta. It covers 6,832 ha.



Access Routes



From the city of Angol by road to Vegas Blancas. There are 36 km. and time travel. The first gravel road 22 km. The rest of it is land. Passable from late spring and summer, the rest of the year is suitable for four wheel drive vehicles and wearing chains.



From the city of Canete, Arauco Province, 40 km. Cayupil the valley, the road to the farm Chacay and 18 km. of gravel road, an hour and a half.



From Antihuala (province of Arauco), 60 km. by road to the ranch El Chacay, dirt road in its entirety, 2 hours travel



Tourist Information


Management Area:


Pehuenco is located at 40 km. Angol and 47 of Cañete. The activities are interrupted during the autumn-winter owing to weather conditions. Care season is spring-summer visitors and the hours are from 08.00 to 13.00 and from 14.00 to 20.00 hours.

The Gates:

Located on the eastern boundary of the Park, 5 km. Administration and 35 of Angol. The activities are not interrupted during the year. The opening hours for visitors is from 08.00 to 13.00 and de16.00 to 20.00.
