Information about Tegucigalpa
Tegucigalpa is the capital and seat of government of the Republic of Honduras, along with its twin city Comayagüela.
It has approximately 1 million inhabitants and is located in a valley surrounded by mountains.
Despite the important cultural heritage of the Spaniards, the city is not drawn in a grid form as it is in most of the cities founded by the Spaniards in Central and South America.
