The Museum for National Identity or MIN of Honduras for its acronym, is a museum dedicated to the acquisition, investigation, conservation and dissemination of historical material of the humans who have populated the territory of Honduras.
The museum's collection is mainly pre-Columbian Maya.
The Museum is basically divided into 3 thematic areas:

The building where the museum is located was built in 1880 and is of neo-classical architecture, which was declared a national monument by the Honduran Institute of Anthropology and History.
