The historical Braun and Blanchard Wharf was built by the cattle company with the same name at the beginning of the last century, together with the wineries in the cattle raising boom in Patagonia.
Then it was set on fire by the workers after a revolt in about 1920.

Today it is the preferred habitat for birds of the sector and visited by thousands of tourists annually
