Original Quito City Tour in Trolley

In this wonderful tour, we will visit the largest and most preserved historic center of Latin America, the historic center of Quito, in Trolley!
We will make a stop at the Basilica of the National Vow and at the Panecillo, where we find a huge figure of the Virgin of Legarda, emblem of the city of Quito.
Then, we will walk on La Ronda street and visit workshops.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Basílica del Voto Nacional, Venezuela 11-263 y, Quito 170130, Ecuador

On this visit we will tour the Center Quito's historic capital of Ecuador, this is the largest and best preserved in South America. We will do this on board our originals Trolleys, which are a replica of the trams that circulated in Quito the century past.
We will start our tour by visiting the Church of the National Vow Basilica, where our guide will give us a brief explanation of its facade.

Stop At: La Virgen del Panecillo, Gral. Melchor Aymerich, Quito 170111 Ecuador

After this, we will go to the Mirador of Panecillo, where is the giant statue of the "Winged Virgin". This Virgin is the guardian of the city, also known as "Virgen de Legarda" or "Virgen Alada", from where you can admire a beautiful landscape of colonial and modern Quito.

Stop At: Plaza de San Francisco, Quito Ecuador

Later, we will continue to Plaza San Francisco, one of the representative places of the metropolitan city of Quito.

Stop At: Plaza de la Independencia (Plaza Grande), Gabriel Garcia Moreno Entre Chile y Espejo, Quito 170150 Ecuador

We will walk to the Plaza Grande, historical and political center of the city. This square is surrounded by several attractions, among them: The Archbishop's Palace, the Cathedral, the Palace of Government, and the Church of the Company.

Stop At: Calle La Ronda, Juan de Dios Morales, Quito 170150 Ecuador

We will end our tour knowing the traditional neighborhood "La Ronda", where we will visit workshops. Here, we will be received by a group of authentic craftsmen who will explain us how their works of art were made the last century. These artists keep their own cultural traditions alive in this beautiful colonial city.

Pass By: Mercado Artesanal La Mariscal, Jorge Washington 611, Quito 170143 Ecuador

To end the tour, you can visit a shop of typical and exclusive handicrafts of Ecuadorian artists from different parts of the country (optional).
After this, you have the option to continue visiting the city or have lunch (not included) in the Zona Rosa (La Mariscal). If so, you will return to your hotel on your own.
