Stop At: Pointe du Hoc, 14450 Cricqueville-en-Bessin France

Pointe du Hoc is a high point between two of the five D-Day landing beaches, Utah and Omaha. It is renowned for the daring assault conducted on 6 June 1944 by the 2nd U.S. Ranger Battalion in an effort to neutralise the German artillery battery there.

Start your tour at the Visitor's Center.

Stop At: Omaha Beach, Avenue de la Liberation, Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer France

Omaha Beach was part of the invasion area assigned to the U.S. First Army, under Lieutenant General Omar Bradley. The assault sectors at Omaha were code-named (from west to east) Charlie, Dog (consisting of Green, White, and Red sections), Easy (Green and Red sections), and Fox (Green and Red sections).

We will have one or two stops on Omaha Beach, at either Vierville, St Laurent and/or Colleville.

This World War II cemetery in France contains the graves of nearly 9400 war dead, and nearly 1600 names on the Walls of the Missing.

This tour makes extra time for you to be able to explore the Visitor's Center.

Located 500 meters from the American Cemetery of Colleville-sur-Mer and the famous beach of Omaha Beach, OVERLORD MUSEUM makes you discover a unique collection of more than 10,000 pieces, which traces the history of the Battle of Normandy until the liberation of Paris. The 6 armies present are staged there thanks to life-size reconstructions, associating personal effects of soldiers and more than 40 vehicles, tanks and guns.

Stop At: Arromanches 360 Circular Cinema, Chemin du Calvaire, 14117 Arromanches-les-Bains France

Located on the Arromanches clifftops, the Arromanches 360 Circular cinema dominates the remnants of one of the two artificial Mulberry harbours set up by the Allies.

Watch the movie 100 days of the Battle of Normandy. The images projected on nine screens stem from British, Canadian, German, American and French archives.

On both sides of the Channel, one was preparing for this longawaited moment. Then, in spite of unfavorable weather conditions, came the morning of June 6, 1944, the fi rst step towards the liberation of Western Europe. From the landings on the 5 beaches of the Manche and Calvados departments to the tragic bombing of Le Havre on September 12, the Battle of Normandy lasted 100 days. Experience 20 minutes of pure historical intensity!
