Information about Porto Seguro

Porto Seguro is a coastal city in the state of Bahia, with its generous vegetation and beautiful beaches. This city has no less than 85 km of beaches with transparent waters and white sands. Its privileged climate attracts travelers from all over.

The municipality was founded in 1534 and officially declared the point of arrival of the Portuguese in Brazil. It currently has about 140,000 inhabitants and is located almost entirely by historical heritage, and the construction of tall buildings (with more than three floors) is not allowed.
