The national reserve Pizarro is a protected natural area of ​​national character located in the province of Salta, in the northwest of Argentina. It protects one of the last samples of the longitudinal forest continuity in which the western Chaco forest is modified until it finally turns west into the Salta forest. It is guarded by the National Parks Administration (APN) of Argentina.

How to get to the Pizarro National Reserve:
By car: From the city of Salta, by the RN 9 route to Lumbrera and RP 5 to General Pizarro, where the reserve office and the Visitor Center will be established (272 km of excellent asphalt).

The Reserve completely lacks receptive infrastructure.
