In this 5-hour tour, you can enjoy the charms of elegant Maiko or Geisha performances with authentic Japanese Kaiseki, a traditional Japanese multi-course meal.

The Maiko and Geisha perform traditional music, singing, and dancing. You can also ask questions to them and even participate in traditional geisha games called “ozashiki asobi.”

This tour also comes with a 150-minute Gion tour with a local licensed guide. Your guide will explain Gion's traditions, customs, and culture.

Itinerary

Pass By: Kyoto Station Building, 901 Higashishiokojicho, Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto 600-8216 Kyoto Prefecture

You will meet your guide at Kyoto station or your hotel in Kyoto station. *We can only pick you up within Kyoto City.

Stop At: Gion, Kyoto 605-0074 Kyoto Prefecture

You will look around Gion District with a licensed and local guide. Your guide will teach you about the history of the historical Geiko district of Gion and many areas that you would never be able to find without a guide. This walking tour is 90 mins long and cannot be completed with a vehicle.

We ask that you respect the privacy of the Geiko and Maiko in the area. Please do not take photos without permission and refrain from making loud noises.

This private tour is a walking day tour. A private vehicle is not included. Public transportation or local taxis maybe used to transfer between sites.
