Doge's Palace was a house in Venice, Italy that was the residence of the patrician Giovanni Mocenigo and his descendants, who owned it from 1576 to 1823. . It survived a 1656 fire and again a 1745 earthquake, and in 1823 was demolished to make way for an expansion of St. Mark's Basilica.
