Hoi An Bamboo Workshop with Free souvenir

At Hoi An Bamboo Workshop, you will be surprised and excited to see all the different household facilities and items created from bamboo. You will be taught how to make different items from bamboo and you can take them back home as souvenirs after enjoying this exciting handcrafting experience with Amazing Local Craftsman. 

You will have a chance to make your unique and only-one bamboo souvenir to bring back home or give to a special friend or loved one. First, you will be welcomed in our home to enjoy natural comfort of the bamboo world! There, the artisan will tell you the history, usage and characteristics of bamboo in Vietnam from the traditional to modern perspective. You will then start to make your chosen souvenir to take back home. Examples of products are: pen holder, flower vase, bird cage, iPhone speaker, children’s toys, animals, etc.

 Welcome and sharing time: A Local Bamboo Artisan will welcome you and share:

1. How people use bamboo in Vietnam

2. Bamboo as sustainable material

3. Traditional bamboo house in Vietnam and Cam Thanh village

4. Bamboo facilities and things are made out of bamboo

5. Special technique to treat bamboo in Cam Thanh village

6. Story of his family with 2 generations have deep passion for bamboo

Creative time:

1. Time to choose items to make

2. Get general instruction

3. Time to make the souvenir by your own with help of facilitators

4. Drawing your memories on the products

5. Wrap up with sharing your thought
