The tour begins with the trip towards Kathmandu Durbar Square. Surrounded by the modernity of a city lies the durbar square with its architectural masterpieces dating back to the 12th, 14th to 18th century. Taleju temple with other pagoda temples, Hanuman Dhoka, courtyards, idol of Kal Bhairav, Kasthamandap, and Kumari Ghar are many attractions of durbar square. Alike Swayambhunath stupa about four miles from Kathmandu city lie the largest stupa in Nepal, Boudhanath. A famous religious site for Buddhists, Boudhanath is much similar to Swayambhunath stupa. On the three layered spherical Mandala rises Boudhanath stupa higher in the sky. Upon reaching this distinct stupa the heart is filled with joy and peace.

After the Buddhists shrines we will visit Pashupatinath temple. This is the oldest temple located at the north-east of Kathmandu. A sacred and renowned temple of hindu devotees lies in the bank of Holy River, Bagmati. Non-hindu is not allowed to enter the temple. Spreading around 264 hectares of land there are many temples of various deities in Pashupatinath temple premises. Like Swayambhunath there are many monkeys around the temple.
