Kathmandu -Nagarkot-Pokhara Luxury Tour is a leisure tour that lets you experience all the best highlights of the two major cities of Nepal- its capital Kathmandu and its tourist hub- Pokhara.

Pokhara, also known as ‘the city of lakes’ is located in Kaski district in Western Region of Nepal. The city lies some 200 kilometers away from Kathmandu city. Pokhara is a must-see in Nepal and so far one of the most popular tourist destinations in the nation.

During the course of this trip, travel on a comfortable private tourist vehicle for kathmandu Valley and Pokhara Valley Sightseeing . Transfer within the city will be on private tourist vehicles with  car, van or minibus according to the size of a group. All accommodation during the tour will be at 5-star hotels on twin sharing basis (single supplement will be available on request).

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)

Stop At: Kathmandu, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
Our representative from Himalaya Sanctuary will meet you after landing and custom clearance in the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). Following a brief introduction and Nepali welcome, we will drive you to the hotel in Thamel. Thamel, as located in the heart of the city, you can have a first-hand experience of the valley from the drive. After reaching the hotel rest for the day there. Overnight at a hotel in Thamel Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

Stop At: Kathmandu, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
After breakfast you will be headed Fullday sightseeing in Kathmandu as mentioned below.
a).Boudhanath Stupa , Lies about 6 kms to the east of downtown Kathmandu and is the largest stupa in the valley. It looms 36 meters high and presents one of the most fascinating specimens of stupa design. Buddhanath is also known as Khasti, or dew drops, after an account that builders had to use dew to mix the mortar as Kathmandu was suffering from a severe drought during the construction of Bouddhanath.
b).Pasupatinath Temple , Pashupatinath is one of the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world and lies 5 kms east of the city center. The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred Linga, or phallic symbol, of Lord Shiva. Chronicles indicate the temple’s existence prior to 400 AD. Devotees can be seen taking ritual dips in the holy Bagmati River flowing beside the temple
c).patan Darbar Square , Patan Durbar Square is an enchanting combination of palace buildings, artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda temples. The former royal palace complex is the center of Patan’s religious and social life, and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious objects. One remarkable monument here is a 17th-century temple dedicated to the Hindu god Krishna, built entirely of stone
d).Swayambhunath Stupa (World Heritage Site) Watches over the valley from the top of a hillock on its western side. The huge stupa is one of the holiest Buddhists sites in Nepal and its establishment is linked to the creation of the Kathmandu Valley out of a primordial lake.

Day 3: Fly to Pokhara (Altitude:827m, 25 Mins flight)

Stop At: Pokhara, Pokhara, Gandaki Zone, Western Region
After breakfast in the morning our driver will take you to the domestic airport one hour earlier than your schedule to catch the flight to Pokhara. You will be taken to your hotel after landing at pokhara airport after check in at your hotel you can hang out around the Fewa Lake in Pokhara which is in short walk from hotel.

Day 4: Pokhara Valley Sightseeing ( 4 - 5Hr) ( 900m )

In the Morning visit to Sarangkot which is famous for Sunrise and Mountain View (Altitude:1600m, 45 mins drive 25 mins hike), After Sarangot you will be taken to your hotel for Breakfast. After breakfast our driver will transfer you to the domestic airport for your flight back to kathmandu once you arrive at kathmandu airport you will be driven to Nagarkot for Overnight
