Itinerary

Day 1: Alice Springs to Uluru

Stop At: Alice Springs, Alice Springs, Red Centre, Northern Territory
Leaving Alice Springs early, we travel towards Uluru, stopping at Mt Connor (false Uluru) lookout and Curtin Springs for a toilet break before getting to our campground for lunch.
Duration: 5 hours

Stop At: Ayers Rock Airport, Yulara NT 0872, Australia
You can also opt for a complimentary pick-up service from Ayers Rock Airport or Ayers Rock Campground, where your outback adventure begins.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, Lasseter Highway, Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, Northern Territory Australia
Prepare to be awe-struck by the heart of the Red Centre and region-rich heritage and Aboriginal significance which you will learn more about at the interpretive cultural centre.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Mutitjulu Waterhole, Kuniya Car Park, Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, Northern Territory 0872 Australia
Get up close and personal with Uluru, the colossal monolith, as you embark on a base walk to the Mutitjulu waterhole, discovering sacred rock art sites and ancient creation stories.

Explore the remarkable Kantju Gorge, home to Central Australia's highest waterfall and an elders' cave, ending your day with a mesmerizing sunset at Uluru lookout, accompanied by a hearty dinner.

Day 2: Uluru - Kata Tjuta - Ayers Rock

Rise early and savour a light breakfast as you venture towards a captivating sunrise in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Witness the majestic silhouette of Kata Tjuta, a remarkable sight to behold.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Valley of the Winds Road Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, Northern Territory 0872 Australia
Embark on an invigorating hike through the awe-inspiring Valley of the Winds or Walpa Gorge, marvelling at the mighty conglomerate rock formations.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Kata Tjuta - The Olgas, Kata Tjuta Rd, Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, Northern Territory 0872 Australia
Conclude your exploration of Kata Tjuta, and head back to Yulara Airport to either meet your adjoining flight. Estimated drop-off time around mid-day.

Hike Distance: 2-5 km / 2-4 hours (*weather dependent).
