Capri Day and Night Tour from Sorrento

Capri Day and Night Tour from Sorrento

Playground for everyone from Hollywood stars to the ancient Greeks, Capri is a dazzling gem in the Neapolitan Riviera. You'll speed across by hydrofoil in the mid-afternoon to pass the evening surrounded by beauty and picture-perfect views doing exactly as you wish.

You'll start with a tour of the island by boat so you can spot the grottoes that have been drawing in visitors for decades. And, just as the day-trippers are retreating home, you'll be dropped off in Capri Town for the evening. Explore the harbour under your own steam, dipping in and out of designer shops as you go.

Once you have your bearings, you'll be able to dine in one of the many up-market restaurants, or simply opt for a caprese salad invented here in the 50s. The island is famed for its boutiques, bars and luxury hotels, and you'll experience it all under the twinkle of the night sky.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Giardini di Augusto, Via Matteotti 2, 80076, Capri, Island of Capri Italy

They were initiated by Friedrich Alfred Krupp, the German steel industrialist who bought some properties on the island at the beginning of the twentieth century, with the intention - which he did not realize - of building a villa there. Known as Krupp gardens until 1918, after the First World War they were renamed gardens of Augustus by the city administration, in honor of the first Roman emperor.

They constitute a true botanical garden that houses various specimens of the island's flora, with ornamental and non-ornamental plants. To the botanical beauties, we associate a very wide panorama on the main beauties of the landscape of Capri. In fact, you can get a 180-degree view of the island of Capri, with views of Mount Solaro, the bay of Marina Piccola, via Krupp and the famous faraglioni.

Duration: 1 hour

Pass By: I Faraglioni, End of Via Tragara, Capri, Island of Capri Italy

The faraglioni of Capri are three rocky peaks positioned to the south-east of the homonymous island, famous all over the world thanks to the evocative and historical overview offered by the gardens of Augustus.

These emergencies are identified with three distinct names: the first (joined to the mainland) is the Faraglione di Terra; the second, separated from the first by the sea, is that of Mezzo; while the third, reaching out towards the sea, is the Faraglione di Fuori. The latter is very well known as it is the only habitat of the famous blue lizard.

Stop At: Piazza Umberto I, Via San Francesco 1, 80073, Capri, Island of Capri Italy

The square, located on the edge of the historic center of Capri, once housed the ancient local market; today it is the center of the social life of the island and is often called a «living room of the world», so much so that it is often compared to squares such as the Rossio of Lisbon or the Venetian San Marco.
