Freediving in Costa Rica

Freediving with us is a unique experience in that we operate in one of the quietest, most serene environments in Costa Rica. The wild and untouched Osa Peninsula. And on the Golfo Dulce where we train, there's no current or waves. Just peaceful calm water! There's also a chance to encounter some amazing wildlife such as dolphins, turtles, and migrating humpback whales that use these waters as a place to raise their young.

Itinerary

We will first meet at the office for a warm-up/mobility session, breathwork, and a theory session and then proceed to the ocean from there for an open water freediving experience! We will paddle out from shore on paddleboards, approximately 300 meters out from shore, on the calm, peaceful water of the Golfo Dulce. We'll then anchor the boards and get in the water to dive! You will learn all the fundamentals of freediving, different disciplines, techniques, and safety. Yoga, mindfulness practice, and breathwork are also incorporated into the experience.
