Life here passes between boat rides to explore what nature saw fit to give Sisal. Its wetland area is the habitat of a considerable colony of pink flamingo. Venture into the estuaries in kayaks and spot crocodiles if you are lucky, admire the sunset on its beaches and pier, swim in the freshwater springs and delight in the aromas of its cuisine.

Merida to Sisal

Travel time from Mérida to the Sisal mangrove reserve (First stop).

Sisal mangroves
10:00 - 12:30 p.m.
We will enter the mangrove area aboard a motorcycle taxi (traditional transport of the region) where you can observe wildlife and some birds.

Later, you enter the swamp on a barge (boat) or by kayak, to observe endemic birds of the region and also pink flamingos.

Finally, we visit the "Ojo de agua Carbonera" so you can enjoy the water from the coastal spring.

During the tour we provide you with natural water and delicious seasonal fruit.

From the mangroves to the Sisal Beach
