Real Tea Experience in Takayama with Expert Guide

An expert from a long-established tea shop in Hida Takayama for over 100 years will give a lecture on how to brew delicious tea by using a teapot that suits each tea leaf. This class will be interpreted by a professional guide who lives in Takayama.
You can choose 3 types of tea leaves from 5 types of green tea, 5 types of roasted green tea, and 5 types of blended tea and compare them.

Why don't you enjoy making tea with Kyusu (Teapot)-
We would like you to feel the Japanese culture by cherishing your time while making tea in your busy life. Sitting in a real tatami room from Nabeshima tea shop (certified as a tangible cultural property). Our instructor will give you basic tips on how to brew Japanese tea with a Kyusu, you will be able to brew real Japanese tea by yourself.

Select 3 types of tea leaves from 5 out list of different green tea (5 types of roasted green tea, and 5 types of blended tea).

The instructor will explain to you how to brew each tea by using a specific pot for each tea leaf.

You can enjoy not only the tea but also Takayama’s seasonal sweets.

At the end of the class, we will give you a souvenir.
