15 Mile Boat Ride on the Columbia River (Chelan County)

This boat ride is a family fun, energized, guided boating experience on the Columbia River in Wenatchee, WA(about a half hour drive from Leavenworth, WA and an hour from Chelan, WA). Our boat is loud and stylish like a hot rod, but on the water. It’s designed to offer more than your average boat ride by offer drifting turns during the cruise and the occasional amusement ride initiated by the captains hand signal.

The amusement ride is like a roller coaster on the water with right angle fish tale turns and a “Hamilton Spin” finale in which the boat will spin within its own length. Get the best view of the Rocky Reach Dam and capture the moment with a selfie! This product allows visitors to capture a well rounded locals type experience without consuming most of your day on a boat rental or fishing charter. Even the most boat savvy folks spend half of a day dealing with the logistics getting on the water, but you don't have to!

"Our vessel has a jet drive. Therefore, it is important that our riders understand that debris(sticks, grass and trash) in the water can get lodged in the jet drive. Debris in the jet drive can cause a decrease in the engine’s performance, maneuverability or even shut the engine down. In that event, we have a mechanism called a “stomp grate” that can possibly dislodge the debris. The captain will need to shut the boat down and move to the swim platform in the back of the boat to operate the stomp grate. On rare occasion, the captain may need to get in the water to inspect or attempt to dislodge the debris. On an even rarer occasion, it’s possible that the boat needs to come out of the water to dislodge or clean out the debris in the jet drive in which case the next section below will come into effect. Please understand that these processes have varying degrees of success and can effect your day to some degree. It is important that your party remains calm during this process."
"All participants must understand that is possible that the boat can break down despite having a rigorous inspection and maintenance schedule. The amount of time it takes to get to shore can vary and can effect your plans. There are stretches of this shoreline that have rocks, a steep embankment and/or heavy foliage that could delay getting to shore. The boat is equipped with 4 paddles and members of your party may be asked to paddle or take turns paddling. The boat is equipped with the most effective anchor, chain and rode on the market. The boat is equipped with a 24 volt, 80lb thrust electric motor. The captain can flag down a nearby boat for assistance.
