Lima, the capital of Peru, lies on the country's arid Pacific coast. Though its colonial center is preserved, it's a bustling metropolis and one of South America’s largest cities. It's home to the Museo Larco collection of pre-Columbian art and the Museo de la Nación, tracing the history of Peru’s ancient civilizations. The Plaza de Armas and the 16th-century cathedral are the heart of old Lima Centro.

Stop At: Lima, Lima, Lima Region
Pick up from accommodation in Lima and start of tour. The excursion offers Lima’s best attractions in its three historical periods: pre-Hispanic, colonial and modern.
The start of tour with a panoramic view of the “Pucllana Pyramid” a magnificent ceremonial and archeological center built in the 4th century AD and considered a “Sacred Village” by the Incas. Then head to visit the Historical Center of Lima, to appreciate more than fifty monuments and Colonial edifications, such as the Paseo de la República, the San Martín Square, the Main Square, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, and the City Council Palace amongst others.
After head to the monumental San Francisco Convent, which displays the largest collection of religious art in America. The highlight will be the visit of the underground vaults, known as “Catacumbas” or Catacombs. After the tour, return to accommodation in Lima.
