3-Hour Private Norwegian Hiking Experience with Local Guide

Hiking is at the core of Norwegian culture, and every Norwegian has their favorite neighborhood mountain they go to unwind, move their bodies and connect with nature.

In this tour, you will get the unique opportunity to hike with a local Norwegian and visit a traditional Norwegian family home. Through that we wish to give you a peek into the Norwegian way of life.


Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Geitanuken, Åsane, Bergen, Norway

Experience the gorgeous Geitanuken. A staple mountain of the Åsane neighborhood of Bergen.

We will hike to our favourite spot on top of Geitanuken. The hike up is only 15-25 minutes, and is suitable for all ages. At the top you will have stunning views of Bergen, Åsane and the of course the beautiful fjord.

After reaching the top we will stop for photos, for a coffee and water, and simply take in the gorgeous views.

After about 45 minutes to an hour on the top, we will descend the mountain. We will take a less steep route and the walk down is around 20-30 minutes.

Experience the true Norwegian lifestyle. Join us for a neighborhood hike with a true local!

After we pick you up from the bus terminal we drive to our home at the foot of a mountain. The drive is no longer than 10 minutes. We then take the local path up our neighborhood mountain. The hike is only around 15 minutes long, and suitable for all ages. Low effort hike with very high rewards.

After we have taken in the stunning views of Geitanuken, the next stop is our family home in Morvik. We live just at the foot of the mountain with a view of Bergen and the fjord. Here we will treat you to a Norwegian snack. Waffles, cinnamon roll, or whatever delicious treat we have available on that day.

After you book the tour we will contact you to arrange a pickup location. Our tour guide will come to find you carrying a Norwegian flag and drive you in a private car to the tour location in Åsane.
