The City Safari - A Classic Car Tour of Panama City

Feel the exhilaration of cruising through Panama City in the coolest car in town, a bright green 1971 VW Safari (you might know it as "The Thing"). Turn the music up and feel the wind in your hair as you are chauffeured through our dazzling city with the top down.

In our daytime tours, you will ride through the old world of Casco Viejo and enjoy incredible views of the ocean as we drive down Avenida Balboa and Amador Causeway. In our nighttime tours, you can see the breathtaking views of the city all lit up including the spectacular view coming over the coastal beltway back into the city center. And we might even turn on the bright green lights under the car just to show off a bit.

Whether you choose a day tour or a night tour, this is your chance to let your hair down and just have fun!

Here we will take some beautiful photos in front of the iconic PANAMA sign by the marina. With any luck, we will also be able to feed the raccoons and get you up to speed on all the amazing things you can do on your vacation in this picturesque spot which a lot of tourists miss!

More amazing sights to be seen here including the amazing BioMuseo building, Bridge of the Americas as well as the skyscrapers of Panama City and Costa del Este

Experiencing Avenida Balboa in a 1971 Volkswagen Safari is really something else. The architecture really comes alive and you'll see some of Panama's most iconic buildings - in style!

Casco Viejo is a staggeringly beautiful World Heritage site and we will gently cruise back to our starting point at Plaza Simon Bolivar through some of its most beautiful locations, learning about the history and culture as we travel. Be prepared to feel like a movie star as this car gets a huge amount of attention!
