Shikisai-no-Oka has a vast and beautiful flower field covering an area of 15 hectares, like a carpet of seven colors and rainbows, with different patterns in different seasons.
every May end to October end, on the rolling hills, more than 30 kinds of flowers such as tulips, lavender, and sunflowers are blooming. Looking from a distance, they are colorful, just like the palette in the hands of a painter. There is also a giant scarecrow standing in the flower field, which is very cute.

One of the oldest flower fields in Japan, it has been transformed from the former lavender to a large pastoral farm with as many as 150 kinds of flowers. Lavender blooms usually in June start,The winter greenhouse opens to the public in mid-August, and you can see various plants such as lavender and geraniums. In addition to lavender, other varieties of flowers are also planted in the garden. There are saffron from mid-April, daffodils, tulips and so on in May. Climbing to the top of the flower field, you can see the scenery of Furano Basin and the Tokachi mountain range in the field of lavender.

Ningle Terrace in Furano is a forest handmade experience workshop inspired by a character in the novels of Japanese writer Satoshi Kuramoto (to be precise, a 15cm elf living in a large forest). The cabins here are small shops one by one, selling unique small goods, basically all handmade, such as glass crafts, paper crafts, hand paintings, and crafts made of Furano’s dried lavender flowers. Each shop is small and exquisite, and everything is only sold here and there will be no second one.
