Cruise to Gramvousa Peninsula and Balos Lagoon fom Heraklion

Discover the two small uninhabited islands off the coast of Gramvousa Peninsula as well as Balon Lagoon. Enjoy a magical boat trip through the westernmost point of Crete and admire the crystal clear waters of these places. Walk across the white sand shore and find yourself enjoying the sun in one of the most beautiful beaches.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Pass By: Heraklion, Heraklion, Crete

We will start collecting participants from pick-up points in the morning.
Depending on the place of your hotel/apartment the bus ride to Kissamos will differ.

Stop At: Kasteli, Kasteli, Crete

Enjoy a bus trip of 4-4.5 hours (depending on the starting point) through Heraklion, Rethymnon and Chania Region.
We will make a stop before the city of Rethymnon in order to get some rest and enjoy a coffee or breakfast. The stop will last for about 20' and then we will depart.
After almost a 4 hour bus drive we will arrive at the port of Kissamos where the boat will depart for our Cruise.

Duration: 5 hours

Stop At: Gramvousa Fortress, Gramvousa, Crete 73400 Greece

The boat trip will last for about 1 hour.
As soon as we disembark the boat, all participants have 1.5 hours to enjoy their free time, walk up to the Venetian Castle on the hill, take photos of the breathtaking view of Balos lagoon and then enjoy swimming in the crystal clear waters.

Stop At: Balos Lagoon, Kissamos, Crete 734 00 Greece

Boat Trip to Balos: 15 minutes
Participants will find themselves in the crystal clear waters of Balos where they will stay for about 2.5 hours.
In the meantime the restaurant of the boat will be open to serve, so travellers can enjoy their lunch any time between 12:00 and 17:00.

Pass By: Kasteli, Kasteli, Crete

Arrival by boat at the town of Kasteli where we will start embarkation in the buses and drive back to the hotels where we gathered participants in the morning. Depending on traffic and on the pick-up places of each one, the time of journey back to the hotel will differ.


Stop At: Heraklion, Heraklion, Crete

Our bus drive back to Heraklion will last for about 4-4.5hours, depending on traffic and where you resort in Heraklion takes place. In the meantime, our driver will make a 20' stop so that we can stretch, rest and then continue.

We pick up travellers from specific points in the areas of Sisi, Malia, Stalis, Hersonissos, Anissaras, Agkisaras, Gouves, Gournes, Kokkini Hani, Karteros, Amoudara, Agia Pelagia and from two centrally located points in Heraklion town.
