Visit to Tikal with airplanes included

At the indicated time our guide will pick you up at your hotel to make the transfer to the airport, to board the plane that will take you to the Mundo Maya Airport in Petén. There they will be received, for their transfer to the Tikal National Park.

Tikal Tikal is the largest excavated site in the Americas and contains some of the most fascinating archaeological remains of the ancient Mayan civilization. It is the most famous natural and cultural reserve in Guatemala and was declared a national park in 1955 and a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1979.

Tikal comprises 576 km2 of exuberant jungle surrounding the ceremonial center. It took the University of Pennsylvania 13 years to unveil around 16 square kilometers of structures in Tikal. However, many remain to be discovered. So, take some advice ... Do not try to know everything about Tikal in one day, even if you are in excellent shape

Return to the Mundo Maya airport to take the flight to Guatemala City.
