Pan de Azucar with Elevator

Sugar Loaf is next to Corcovado, one of the emblems of the city and Brazil, and a visit is a must for those who wish to view the most beautiful panorama of the capital carioca ride. The nose is located in the neighborhood of Urca, on the beach Vermelha.

Located on the banks of Guanabara Bay on a peninsula extending over the Atlantic Ocean, Sugarloaf is the only one of the several existing monoliths in Rio that is located exactly on the sea. This gives it a unique charm, coupled with the spectacular view from its 396 disfrutable meters. The peak is granite and quartz, and is covered by lush Atlantic Forest in the region.
