Southwest Tour of the Island

A perfect tour for the ones that do not want to leave any hidden treasures undiscovered. You will have the chance to visit most of the south coast of Madeira. Get to know the nicest little villages of Paúl do Mar and Jardim do Mar (some of the best waves in Europe), and Ponta do Pargo (the west-end of the Island).

This is the suniest part of the Island and as an extra, you will have great views of the famous banana plantations.

Considered the hottest municipality of the island is also where the sun shines for more hours. Agriculture is its primary economic activity with the production of sugar cane, banana, horiculture and floriculture. It's city center is right by the sea and engulfed by mountains covered in agriculture terraces. A stunning place to visit.

A fairy tale location, here you can find a pedagogical farm with agricultural areas, gardens with herbs and a variety of exotic animals.

A cliff, rising 290 meters above sea level, provides breathtaking views over the ocean. Here, a lighthouse opened in 1922, still shines its light during the night.

A fishing village surrounded be high vertical cliffs, an unforgettable heavenly scenery where it is possible to see the island's most beaufitul sunset.

It's best described as a jewel by the sea. A small village filled with colorful wild flowers and steep cliffs. Throught he villa, small pathways take you on small journeys of color, tradition and history. A place you will not wait to visit again.
