On this Mormon History of Salt Lake City Walking Tour, you'll be guided step by step to the historic spots associated with the Mormon pioneers and discover their story. Go at your pace, anytime.

You’ll see many of the most famous sites in Salt Lake and a few hidden gems including the pioneer museum, state house, beehive, lion’s den, tabernacle, LDS office, eagle’s gate, history museums, lions gate, the church, Temple square and so much more.

You’ll hear the stories and history of the people that made this their home including Brigham Young, the Native Americans, Joseph Smith, Pioneers, and the people that built this city.

You will multiple chances to stop at sites that offer free admission including museums, an observation deck, parks, and government buildings. You are free to enter, if you visit during opening hours, and are optional. The tour is completely outside and can be taken anytime.

You'll see the Utah state capital and hear the history of the building and how the Mormons came to Utah.

You'll see the plaque and learn the story of the war and the history of the peak.

Stop At: Pioneer Memorial Museum, 300 N Main St, Salt Lake City, UT 84103, USA

The tour stops at the Pioneer Museum, it's free entry, and you'll hear the story of the pioneers that came to Salt lake and their journey.
