We will meet at our workshop, filled with materials, tools, and finished products. This is where you will become an insider on the history of this humble people's shoe that evolved into a major fashion trend.
Together with master artisans, you will craft your pair of Espadrilles. Out of different combinations, you will choose the size of the base, the stitching style, and the color and type of the laces. You will also learn the different ways to lace them up!

In the end, you will feel like a true artisan.
You'll get a wearable memory of Barcelona hardly available to visitors and a cool story to tell. 

Itinerary

Learn about traditional Spanish Espadrilles shoes on a visit to a workshop. Put your knowledge to use as you make your pair to take home with you. Meet at the workshop in Marbella, where you can see the materials used in making the shoes alongside some finished products.

Let the artisans introduce you to the history of these shoes. Find out how they went from humble beginnings to a modern fashion trend. Next, choose a size, lace color, and preferred style for your pair of espadrilles. When you're ready, you'll be guided through the stitching process and learn the different ways of lacing them up. After you're finished, you'll have your pair of self-made espadrilles. Take them home and show them off as a wearable memory of your time in Marbella. We specialize in team-building experiences!
