The city is the best place to learn about the history and culture of the United Arab Emirates. We will start the city tour by visiting Qasar Al Ain, the Al Ain Palace Museum. The Bedouin-style architecture dated back to 1937 was the residing place of the late Sheikh Zayed and his family. The fort was later converted into a museum in the year 1998. The Museum showcases the day-to-day life of Late Shaikh Zayed.

Stop At: Al Jahili Fort, Sultan Bin Zayed Al Awwal St, Al Ain United Arab Emirates

Your next stop will be Jahili Fort, established to protect the palm tree's in the region. The fort is one of the largest in the UAE. The defense opened its gate to the public in 2008 and has been one of Al Ain's significant points of interest. The impressive displays are the rare collections of photographs by British adventurer, desert explorer, and writer Wilfred Thesiger with a focus on his journeys into the Empty Quarter during the 1940s.

The oasis area has more than 147,000 date palm trees of different varieties. Its traditional Aflaj irrigation systems also define it, which carry fresh spring water from the Hajar Mountains. The new addition, Eco-Centre, helps the visitors to understand the site's Ecosystem, historical evolution, and the lifestyle of the people.
