Jewish Heritage private city tour

Jewish Heritage private city tour

Berlin used to be a center of Jewish life for many centuries and had one of Europe´s largest communities until the Nazi persecution put a tragic end to it. This walking tour takes you through the old Jewish Quarter of Berlin where we will search for traces of the past and witness flowering Jewish life in Germany´s capital today. Visit the site of the city´s first synagogue, the golden dome of the New Synagogue, sites of successful resistance against the Nazi terror and the place where the philosopher Moses Mendelssohn was buried and more.
