Ramon crater Jeep tours from Mitzpe Ramon

The Negev desert experience. Afternoon to evening 4x4 tour in the high Negev area, through the cliffs of Ramon crater, Wadi Zin, the area between the inhabited desert and the wilderness, visiting the amazing desert vineyards, and nearby the Bedouin settlements. Overnight accommodation, hospitality and traditional dinner in a family Bedouin camp. Next morning, a Bedouin breakfast and then 4x4 tour in the magnificent Makhtesh (crater) Ramon, One of the most beautiful natural wonders in the world, a jump into the world of geology, ancient layers of minerals, fossils and many shades of rock and soil, we will get to know the phenomenon of the formation of the crater, as well as the desert flora and fauna.

The tour is designed and priced for up to 4 participants, in advance coordination with the hosts, it's possible to carry out the program also for larger groups. It's also possible to enrich the tour program with various content, experience and knowledge related to the Bedouin tradition.

Itinerary

Day 1: evening 4x4 tour along the high Negev mountains, dinner and overnight stay in a Bedouin tent

Stop At: Mitspe Ramon, Mitspe Ramon, Southern District
A special experience in the Negev desert, a 4x4 tour in the evening in the high Negev mountains and Nahal Tzin, overnight and dinner at a Bedouin camp, breakfast and a morning 4x4 tour in Makhtesh (Makhtesh) Ramon.
Depending on the seasons, we will determine the time of our meeting, we can meet at Mitzpe Ramon, wherever convenient for you and from there we will go on a 4x4 tour in the Negev mountain area, the border between the inhabited desert and the arid desert, we will tour the cliff line of the Ramon crater and the upper tributaries of Wadi Zin. We will continue to the area of wine vineyards and the border of the Israeli army's firing areas, later we will go to a Bedouin camp and have a traditional Bedouin dinner, we will get to know the special Bedouin traditions and the way of life of the nomads of the Negev desert. We will experience the night in the camp, and stay to sleep in the Bedouin tent.

Day 2: Ramon crater 4x4 tour

Stop At: Ramon Crater, Mitspe Ramon Israel
Enjoy a 2-hour 4x4 jeep tour to Ramon Crater from Mitzpe Ramon. A Machtesh or a crater is a unique geological phenomenon, exists only in the Negev desert, Israel. A jeep tour in the crater is absolutely the best way to experience the essence of desert adventure. Along the tour you will pass through countless earth colors, Beautiful landscapes and interesting points. Along the tour we will tackle some hard and rugged trails, climb up mountains to see the magnificent desert landscape, cross dry river beds, taste and smell some of the unique desert vegetation, observe local wildlife and touch and feel the rare minerals of earth. The tour is accompanied by a professional tour guide, certified by the Israeli ministry of tourism.
