4-Days Trekking Fitz Roy & Camping at El Chalten

If you are a nature lover and enjoy trekking and camping this is a MUST experience for you!

Please be aware we do need a minimun of 2 people to operate this tour, as the tends are for 2 persons!

IMPORTANT NOTE: According to the times we are living these days, this experience can be customized as per your interest and can also be provided in private service for an extra cost. If you are interested in doing this experience privately, please let us know and we will quote.

Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from El Calafate - El Chalten

Stop At: El Chalten, El Chalten, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
You will have to make your own way to Bus Station @ El Calafate, you will be given a ticket to take a bus (regular) to El Chalten.
Upon arrival in El Chalten you will be received by a representative who will accompany you to your hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure
Duration: 4 hours

No meals included on this day.
Accommodation included: Overnight at El Chalten (Hosteria Senderos or similar)

Day 2: Full Day Trekking to Fitz Roy

Stop At: Laguna de los Tres, Los Glaciares National Park Argentina
We start at 12 pm with a transfer to El Pilar where we will start our 1 hour, trek to Piedras Blancas Glacier viewpoint.
From there, we continue to Río Blanco where the ascent to Laguna de los Tres begins, this part of the adventure will take approximately 2 hours. Box lunch is included.
Once we get there we can enjoy, a more than deserved, rest admiring one of the most beautiful views of the area.
Once we have rested, we will begin to descend, 2 hours later we will arrive at Río Blanco. From there, we have only 15 minutes walk to the camping area.
We will spend the night in Camp Poincenot at, Fitz Roy base, where we will have dinner and breakfast.
The camp is located in a wild area without services. It offers tents for 2 people with sleeping bag and insulation mat; and a dining dome with bench and crockery.
Dinner includes appetizers, main dishes and dessert.

Day 3: Full Day Trekking at El Chalten

Stop At: Sendero Laguna Madre E Hija, El Chalten Argentina
After breakfast, we start our trek through the path of the Lagunas Madre e Hija, to arrive at Laguna Torre near noon.
Box lunch is included.
We will appreciate, if the clouds allow us, the legendary Cerro Torre with its needles Eger and Stanghard. After some time, we head back and arrive at El Chaltén about at 5:00 pm.
On day 2, we will walk about 20 km.

Day 4: Transfer back to El Calafate

Pass By: El Chalten, El Chalten, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
Today you will be transfered to the bus station at the designated time to take your bus back to El Calafate.
