Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer In APT Salta - City Tour / Hotel

Stop At: Salta, Salta, Province of Salta, Northern Argentina
We start out tour from the traditional 9th of July Square, visiting the historic centre of the city, its museums, monuments and colonial architecture. The main attractions are el Cabildo, The Cathedral San Francisco’s Church and San Bernardo’s Convent. Then, we go to the top of San Bernardo’s Hill passing by the Monument of the General Güemes and then the surroundings of Salta, visiting the university campuses and San Lorenzo, a summer village, and finally The Craft Market.

Day 2: Salta - Purmamarca - Salinas Grandes - Purmamarca - Salta

Stop At: Purmamarca, Purmamarca, Province of Jujuy, Northern Argentina
We take route 34 passing by the Valle de Siancas, going through the General Güemes town and crops of sugar cane, beans, tobacco, etc until we reach the province of Jujuy. After that, we go into Humahuaca´s Gorge, declared Humanity Heritage by the UNESCO, visiting its different town like Tumbaya, Purmamarca and its spectacular Seven Colors Hill and craftsmanship, then we pass by the Puna until we get to Salinas Grandes. We go down the impressive Cuesta de Lipán.
