The creation of architect Eladio Susaeta (PUCV), Casa Kalfu celebrates and embodies the local architectural tradition.
The hotel offers a ground floor meeting space with a well-stocked bar and a comfortable lounge overlooking the lake, on-site parking, and a complimentary breakfast buffet that includes regional pastries.
Casa Kalfu is run by its friendly, English-speaking owners, Carmen García Cambiaso and Horacio Bovolo, who together have over 40 years of experience in the hotel industry. Kalfu means blue in the language of the Mapuche people who have inhabited the region for centuries.
We offer 14 guest rooms averaging 23 sq. meters (248 sq. feet) in size, central heating and spacious bathrooms. 6 of our rooms feature breathtaking views of Lake Llanquihue and Osorno Volcano.
The interior furnishings are regionally inspired and luxurious, complete with artisanal ornamentation, hand-woven linens and high quality duvet bedding. All rooms include flat screen cable television, Wi-Fi free in the lobby, and a telephone with NDD and IDD. Casa Kalfu provides state-of-the-art insulation and temperature control settings in each guest room.
