Information about Isla Margarita

Margarita Island or Margarita Island, is located southeast of the Caribbean Sea, 40 kilometers from the mainland to the northeast of Venezuela.
Together with the islands of Coche and Cubagua, it constitutes the only island state of Venezuela, called Nueva Esparta.

Margarita Island is one of the favorite destinations of both Venezuelans and tourists from around the world. It has tropical and sunny weather throughout the year, even in the rainy seasons, because it usually rains at night or in the early hours of the morning. Another point in favor of the island, is that there is no hurricane route.

Margarita Island has more than 70 beaches with one of the most spectacular blue seas in the world. It is known as the pearl of the Caribbean, has different places and tourist plans to enjoy a vacation with family and friends: surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, Playa Rosada, Playa Paraíso.
