The history of Concha y Toro vineyard dates back to 1883, when the family of Don Melchor Concha y Toro and Emiliana Subercausaux Doña give life and founded one of the country's largest wine companies and one of the most important that exists today in the world. Throughout its 130-year history, Concha y Toro has become synonymous with tradition, receiving numerous awards for the quality of its wines and the image of the company. What's more, for 3 years, the vineyard has been recognized as the "Most Admired Wine Brand World" ??, which confirms the great work that the different generations have grown up around it.
Today, Concha y Toro has over 9,000 hectares distributed in 51 vineyards in the country, located between the Valle del Limari and Maule. In addition, abroad, it maintains 1,154 hectares vineyard in Mendoza and 464 in California, making it the most important in terms of vineyard area in the world.
All this is certainly a major attraction for the thousands of foreigners who wear our country each year and that is why, in the vineyard has developed an important work related to tourism.
