The Platypus is a semi-aquatic Mammal endemic to eastern Australia and the island of Tasmania.
They measure between 30 and 60 centimeters in length and weigh between 1 and 2.5 kilograms for males and 0.7 and 1.6 kilograms for females.
It has a broad flattened beak, in a relatively small head. The beak is covered by smooth skin. These animals do not have ears and their eyes are also small. In addition, it has appendages, like hamsters (they are leather bags in the mouth used to store food).
