Bioluminescence is a process that occurs in some living organisms, where a chemical reaction is created that produces light. Intracellular bioluminescence is that which is generated by specialized cells, either in unicellular or multicellular organisms.


Only this Sunday, May 15, we will get an excellent view of the lunar eclipse, added to the experience of bioluminescence, it will be spectacular, come and enjoy this pleasant moment.

From our meeting point we will walk for about 30 minutes to the point where we can best appreciate this natural phenomenon.

Bioluminescence in Holbox is a phenomenon that occurs in the South Beaches of the Island and can be observed when there is no moonlight at night. You have to choose the New Moon days that are best appreciated and the months of June to September are usually the best.

At the end, we will share pizza and beer between friends.
